Riyadh Season is Saudi Arabia’s biggest annual entertainment festival, and it creates a large number of short-term jobs every year. The seventh edition, Riyadh Season 2026, was announced to begin on 21 October 2026 and run for about ten weeks under the slogan “Big Time”, with zones such as Boulevard World, Boulevard City, Wonder Garden and The Groves. If you are looking for Riyadh Season event staff jobs, this guide explains who hires, what the roles pay and who can realistically apply.
The festival is organised under the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), but most frontline staff are employed by the operators, event companies, ticketing partners, security firms and hospitality brands that run individual zones and shows. Reports on the 2025 season spoke of more than 25,000 direct jobs and over 100,000 indirect jobs, and a large share of seasonal roles is aimed at Saudi nationals as part of the Kingdom’s localisation goals.
This is an independent informational guide, not an official Riyadh Season or GEA website. We do not have vacancies of our own, and we recommend you verify every listing on official company or government platforms.

About Riyadh Season
Riyadh Season started in 2019 as part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to grow tourism, culture and entertainment. Each edition combines concerts, boxing and other sports events, theme parks, international food zones and country pavilions. Boulevard World, for example, recreates the cultures of different countries, and the 2026 edition adds new pavilions for the Netherlands, Portugal and Yemen, according to Gulf News.
Because the season lasts only a few months, most staff are hired on fixed-term contracts that start a few weeks before opening for training. Experienced event professionals, technical crews and international production companies are also brought in for major shows and fights, often on project contracts.

These are indicative ranges. Seasonal roles may be paid as a fixed amount for the season or per shift. Saudi nationals may receive different packages due to localisation programmes.
Can Indians and Foreign Workers Apply?
Some roles are open to foreign workers, especially technical, production and specialist positions with international event companies. However, many frontline seasonal jobs such as ushers and guest services are aimed at Saudi nationals, and some listings state “Saudis only”. Read each job carefully.
Foreigners must have proper work authorisation. Expats already in Saudi Arabia work through their iqama and employer (or approved transfer or temporary arrangements). For people outside the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia has a Temporary Work Visa, managed through the Qiwa platform and quota-controlled, which allows paid work for up to 90 days, according to immigration advisers’ 2025 updates. Business and tourist visit visas do not allow paid work.
A job offer is not a visa. Your employer must apply for the correct visa before you travel. Never assume sponsorship unless it is clearly stated in a written offer from a verified company.

Riyadh Season employers run pre-season training because staff must be ready on opening night.
Guest Experience Training
Covers customer service, cultural etiquette, venue knowledge and handling large crowds.
Safety and Emergency Procedures
All staff learn evacuation routes, incident reporting and basic crowd safety; ride operators receive detailed equipment training.
Technical Briefings
Production crews receive site inductions, rigging and electrical safety rules for each venue.
