About Marriott in Saudi Arabia
Marriott’s Saudi brands include The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, JW Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien, Marriott Hotels, Courtyard, Four Points, Residence Inn and Marriott Executive Apartments. Giga-projects and new destinations such as the Red Sea coast are creating resort jobs in remote locations. These usually come with staff housing, but they also mean living away from big cities, so applicants should consider lifestyle as well as salary.

Can Indians and Other Foreign Workers Apply?
Yes, for many back-of-house and culinary roles. However, Saudi Arabia’s phased localisation of 41 tourism professions is changing hotel hiring. Since 22 April 2026, receptionist and telephone operator roles are fully reserved for Saudis, and roles such as health club attendant, sales specialist, restaurant host and housekeeping supervisor carry required Saudization percentages. A 30% target for chefs starts in January 2027.
Housekeeping attendants, laundry staff, stewards, cooks, servers and technicians remain the most realistic options for expats. The hotel’s employing company sponsors the work visa and iqama if you are hired from abroad. Remember that a job offer is not a visa, and sponsorship must be confirmed in writing before travel.
