About Tata Electronics and Foxconn in India

Tata Electronics started with making metal enclosures (the outer body) for iPhones at Hosur and has since moved into full iPhone assembly. It bought Wistron’s Indian iPhone plant in Karnataka and, in January 2025, took a 60% stake in Pegatron’s Indian unit.
